Wedding film: Rossella e Vieri, Basilica of Santa Maria Novella
Today is their big day and they chose Florence to be the background of their love….And we followed them step by step to make the video of their wedding, but without being noticed.
We started filming this wedding reportage while the couple was getting ready. The ceremony took place in the BASILICA OF SANTA MARIA NOVELLA, one of the most important church of Florence, where it is possible to admire the passing of centuries and time through its artwork made by the main artists of the Italian Renaissance.
Rossella made her entrance into the church with her stunning wedding dress, admired by relatives and friends, under the watchful eye of our cameras. The moment she met Vieri was so exciting that the emotion almost overwhelmed us too.
This is the most fascinating side of our role as a videomaker during weddings: getting excited with you makes it a unique job. Later we filmed around Florence: a kiss next to the carousel in PIAZZA DELLA REPUBBLICA, a kiss in the shade of the David in PIAZZA DELLA SIGNORIA and one more kiss hand in hand trought the streets of the city, uncaring of the tourist’s eyes. A quick stop at CAFFE PASZOWSKI where we delighted a fresh drink in a hot day.
Then we went to VILLA VIVIANI, a historic house which enjoy a unique view on Florence and the countryside all around. Our wedding film went on until late at night together with the celebrations for the newlyweds.
Everything was perfect!
